Made by Skoda Factory for destruction of very well reinforced objectives. This gun is presented in the marching position with two wagons (barrel-carrier and carriage-carrier). Serving in the Austro-Hungarian Heavy Artillery, the gun, unique in the world, was captured by the Romanian Army in the First World War. This is the only Skoda 42 cm M. 17 on this planet. A 38cm M. 16 can be seen at the Heeresgeschichtliches Museum, Vienna, Austria.
