James Camerons - Expedition Bismarck --

How I lost my moustache
To add an amusing detail the moustache I had proudly worn for almost ten years fell victim to the waging storm. When I tried to trim my moustache a huge wave made my racer slip. As a result a sizeable fraction of one half of my moustache was gone.

Being well aware of the fact that directors do not want the crew members to change their appearance during shooting period I had two options either trimming the other side of the moustache accordingly which would have left me with only about 2 cm of moustache or shaving the beard completely off.

I opted for the latter, which James Cameron, although unhappy with my change in appearance, accepted as the better option.
